The domestic environment – the barriers to efficient electric lighting solutions

The paper presents a study of lighting patterns and barriers to efficient lighting within a domestic environment. It starts with the assumption that the implementation of new technologies and energy-efficient lighting solutions in residential dwellings could positively contribute to the residents’ well-being and the sustainability of the home environment.This paper presents a pilot experiment, its results and analysis, as well as excerpts from the main experiment and final conclusions and recommendations.
