The opening reception is open to all conference ticket holders.

Thursday evening event: City Lights 2.0

Darkness – the stage for a Lighting Designer’s work.

Friday - 'free' evening

It is already a tradition that the Friday evening during PLDC is free for the individual participants to spend as they wish. You may like to join one of the events organised by the sponsoring manufacturers’ or co-ordinate your evening with friends and business partners.

Saturday Gala Dinner

PLDC concludes with a Gala Dinner on Saturday, 22. October, 2011.

The seated dinner provides a framework for networking with colleagues and business partners in a relaxed and very special atmosphere.

The main focus of the evening is the  Professional Lighting Design Recognition Awards ceremony.

The PLDR Award recognises those individuals, practices, institutions or industry partners who have contributed most in their work, actions and deeds to the advancement of Architectural Lighting Design as a recognized profession.

Celebration of Light Party

Following the Gala Dinner and Awards Show, the evening will finish with a PLDC 2011 Party, offering all lighting enthusiasts the opportunity to celebrate light on the dance floor!

All Gala Dinner participants will have an entrance pass to the PLDC 2011 Party.
