The effect of light on humans – what do we really know?
Effects of lighting on humans can be differentiated into three categories: the visual, the emotional and the biological. The visual effects are well known. The emotional effects are well understood. Knowledge of the biological effects has only just started to become available. The latter is of special interest to lighting designers and the lighting industry. The presentation will share the experience gained from specific research projects.
