Matrix or screen

In contemporary cities, the communication of information in the urban environment is gaining in importance. Maurici Gines will explain how state-of-the-art technology can be integrated to produce increasingly smaller luminous elements in an urban design, and take a closer look at the possibility of integrating a matrix of information into buildings without altering their daytime image.

Maurici Gines, APDI, PLDA has been a lighting designer since 1994. In 1998 he founded the design practice Artec luminotecnia with the aim of introducing and promoting the independent lighting design profession in Spain. Maurici is a Professional Member of PLDA and was elected President of the Spanish lighting designers’ association, APDI in 2009. His work has received a number of prestigious awards.
