Platform 5 at Sunderland Station (and why three art installations in one station was a very good thing)

The paper is a case study presentation of Jason Bruges Studio’s latest artwork at Sunderland Station. The speaker will elaborate on the challenges, the process and the fun involved in developing this highly alternative lighting scheme.

Jonathon Hodges, PLDA first became interested in lighting design while working towards a Masters degree in Chemistry at Sheffield University (UK) where he lit rock bands and discos at the student union. After graduation he moved to London and into the field of architectural lighting. Previously employed at Lighting Design International, Jonathon joined Jason Bruges Studio in 2006.
