Regaining the tactile quality of lighting design

Fast paced technology developments have challenged the design professional to master lighting solutions using digital tools and 3D modeling. The value of digital modeling tools is without question. Attendees will learn a process to identify those lighting solutions suitable for full size mock up or demonstration, evaluate a step-by-step process to design, and execute a full scale, on site lighting mock-up.

Charles Thompson, AIA, IALD, IESNA, LC is a professional lighting designer and an educator with a career spanning over 30 years. He has been adjunct professor at the University of Texas, School of Architecture, where he molds young minds on the topic of lighting.
