The lighting dialogue
Museums are one of the traditional fields of lighting design. The sustainability and efficiency of lighting design demands a dialogue between daylight and artificial light in museums while at the same time maintenance budgets are becoming smaller. The lecture will feature the current limitations and outlooks on a classic topic.
Since joining Lichtvision Berlin in 2006, Meike Goessling has worked on various projects, such as museums, commercial and public buildings. Understanding and developing the relationship between natural light and choice of materials, and their impact on design and visual perception, is a key element of her work. Currently based in Berlin, Carla Wilkins, PLDA has over twenty years’ professional experience as an architectural lighting designer.
