M30 public areas and urban development lighting project in Madrid

The new development of the area between the “Puente de los Franceses” and the slaughterhouse premises along the M30 – Madrid’s orbital motorway – has given rise to some new approaches to urban design that returns nature to the urban environment. The audience will learn about the confrontation between the rationalism of a modern city and the natural quality of landscape elements, presenting a project in which both coexist side by side.

Antón Amann studied Architecture at the University of Navarra/E. He is the founder and Managing Director of als (architectural lighting solutions), where he has been planning, managing and consulting in the field of architectural lighting since 1998. Antón Amann is also involved in research and teaching.
